Montana Credit Unions for Community Development will host two series of its Tax TeleCourses this year. Our first course will review 2009 tax law and begins Tuesday, October 19. All courses will begin at 9am and last until 10am. Call-in information is provided at sign-up. Sign up today by contacting Rachael, rachael@mcun.org or 1-800-745-5446 ext. 142.
The Tax TeleCourses are a series of tax law trainings conducted over the phone. Participants call in to a designated number and listen to each training. The trainings last about an hour and include a homework assignment to help you practice what you've learned.
For new volunteers, joining in on the Tax TeleCourses is a great way to get started. You'll learn about tax law and build a strong foundation for the upcoming tax season. For returning volunteers, this is an excellent opportunity to brush up on your tax-prep skills and get reacquainted with the program.
